Lace is a bridal dress trend that truly never goes out of style. There are many options when it comes to placement of lace. Some dresses are simple and only have lace embellishments on the top of the dress. Others are full-length lace. Lace is simple yet sophisticated. Modern yet vintage. Casual yet classy. Timeless. I always say having a lace dress you can look back years from now and it never goes out of style.
Vintage
According to Harper’s Bazaar, “Gatsby-era” styles are predicted to be a bridal gown trend of 2021. These vintage-style sheath dresses can be spiced up with pearls, headbands, and fun vintage jewelry. This trend is fun for a bride who isn’t afraid to try something bold. In fact, some brides take the vintage theme beyond their dress and spread it to all the other details of their big day, like the food and décor.
Sparkle
Subtle sparkle is another popular wedding dress trend. (My absolute favorite) Often, dresses will contain subtle beading with sparkles throughout the dress. Others have dramatic sparkle on only the bodice. Sparkles add a sense of beauty to any dress. Outdoor with all the natural lighting makes these gowns just glisten. And are especially fun when the sun goes down and you are dancing away under twinkle lights and the moon. I believe every bride should have a little bit of sparkle on her wedding day
Sleeves
Wedding dresses with sleeves continue to be a popular wedding trend, especially with brides who get married during colder months. The sleeves are typically fairly sheer and may have a lace pattern. A popular style is the plunging neckline with a sheer sleeve. There is something so beautiful and elegant about a sleeved wedding dress.

The Knot named dresses with ruffles as one of the top 2021 wedding dress trends. Here’s what they have to say about this beautiful style: “A ruffle skirt adds dimension to a mermaid silhouette, while a full skirt of frothy, cascading ruffles is equal parts whimsical and fashion-forward.” The ruffle style is versatile and works well on many different styles of gowns.
