On a regular day you will see me running around, taking pictures, engaging with everyone that comes in along with the staff. I’m constantly on social media keeping up to date with the latest trends and fashions for bridal. Along with making many follow up calls to find out how the planning is going and if they are in need of anything else for their wedding.
My number one focus everyday is to make sure the brides who walks our door have an incredible experience from start to finish.
I try to get to know every bride before their appointment by calling them and asking about what they are looking for and what expectations they have. I usually give them some homework to look at our social media and let them know how much I look forward to seeing them at their appointment.
I’m known for helping brides step out of their comfort zone and try on something that they never expected to love.. (many brides fall in love with my wild cards)
It’s very important for me to build relationships with all my brides and their families. In the last 13 years here I have made so many friendships, brides who walked through the door as a stranger and after their wedding we still remain friends. Most of which we became friends on fb. and I watch their families grow.
To find the right dress for a bride I like to get to know their personality and expectations for their dress.
I have been in customer service as long as I remember and finding the bride the perfect dress to make her feel beautiful is what I’m good at!
Being a mom to my son has been the most rewarding but helping my brides plan their wedding is close behind.
There is a lot more to my job then finding them the perfect dress.
Many brides start looking a year before their wedding date so I get to know them and their families very well. I have to be a very good listener and be there when they have concerns. Being understanding and patience is a big part of my job. Sometimes it’s a consoling hug, and sometimes I just hug because I’m so happy for them! There is always a heartwarming story or two I get to hear that is so wonderful.
